Veg Beds
Looking to add some homegrown goodness to your table?
Look no further than our fantastic vegetable beds.
Planted, tended to, and lovingly maintained by our amazing Eileen and the school children, these beds offer a selection of seasonal vegetables completely free for residents to pick and enjoy.

Herbie
Our village Christmas tree affectionately known as ‘Herbie’ was planted by Viv Knights back in 2015 and was just 3 feet tall.
The festive season wouldn’t be complete without Herbie. Standing tall and proud in the heart of the village, Herbie adds a touch of magic to the winter months.
Defibrillators
Ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and visitors is a top priority for the Summerseat Village Collective. We’re proud to announce that four defibrillators are strategically located around the village, increasing access to this life-saving equipment in case of emergencies. The SVC donated £250 towards the installation of a defibrillator at The Hamers pub, complementing the kits present at the cricket club, Al Bosco restaurant, and outside the garden centre.
Barrels
Thank you to all the volunteers who help to maintain the lovely flower barrels we have dotted around the village, and to Summerseat Garden Centre for kindly donating the plants.
These vibrant displays add a touch of cheer to the village and showcase our collective love for gardening.
